Physical Description:

Scroll (flattened), 6 columns, 8 (preamble) and 34 (table) lines, ruled in plummet, written in red and black ink in a gothic cursive (preamble) and textura (table) script, apparently by a single scribe, rubrics alternating red and black, red plummet drawings of each type of loaf at the top of each respective column, housed in quarter dark orange leather over blue boards manuscript box with title printed in blind on spine, 437 x 338 mm.

Incipit: The statute of Wynchestre/This ys thassise of all manner of breade of what grayne of corne soever yt be``/ [Preamble]: `and yn braude to his advanntage.
