Notes Photograph of a 1904 memorial tablet, featuring a relief portrait of Joseph Priestley. Portrait is after a late 18th century plaque manufactured by Josiah Wedgwood. For a photograph of the original plaque, see P/P933a S. Also inscribed on tablet: This tablet was erected by the Warrington Society on the Centenary of his death, 6th February, 1904. Motto at top of tablet: Fiat Lux. Translation: Let there be light. 2 copies.
